LatinGalva 2014

The LatinGalva conference is scheduled for Nov 3 - 7 in Queretaro, Mexico.  Beta has been invited to present a technical paper at this forum about the available technologies to recover hydrochloric acid from spent pickling solutions. Technologies reviewed will include pyrohydrolysis, acid retardation, diffusion dialysis, and evaporative recovery.  A case study, based on typical batch pickling waste, will evaluate capital cost, energy consumption, chemical mass balance, and end products.  

Beta's representatives in Mexico, Luis and Daniel Pietra Santa, will contribute their extensive field experience with galvanizing plants and the recovery projects they have undertaken.
