Beta Control produces a variety of water processing systems that utilize the latest is Ultra-Filtration, Nano-Filtration and Reverse Osmosis technologies. Our systems are engineered to fit a variety of applications that include: Coal Bed Natural Gas (well water discharge), Potable water, Storm water, Sea water / Grey water, and Acid Filtration. Beta Water Processing Systems can handle flow rates as low as one Liter per minute to as large as is necessary. Most systems are built on single skids for simplified installation. For a typical water processing unit, the process water first goes through a disinfection stage where a light addition of gas and/or irradiation are added to eliminate any biological contaminants. Depending upon the chemical balance of the process water anti-scalants and/or pH neutralizing agents are added to ensure system integrity. The process fluid is then Pre-Filtered before entering a two stage membrane separation. If the volume of concentrate discharged is a priority concern, atmospheric evaporation is used to reduce the concentrate volume. Meanwhile clean water is being discharged from the system at a user defined concentration.
