Sulfuric Acid Recovery System

  • Recycles spent pickling liquor
  • Recovers acid and water for reuse within the plant
  • Stabilizes and reduces pickling times
  • Concentrates iron sulfate co-product for potential sale

If you would like to receive a no-obligation proposal for a sulfuric acid recovery system, click here to retrieve a questionnaire. Answers will be strictly confidential. We can also assist with R.O.I. analysis.

View our Low Temperature Design for plants which require an unusually low level of iron in the pickle tank -- 50 to 60 grams/liter.  Our conventional sulfuric acid recovery system maintains iron levels at 75 to 95 grams/liter.

Customizable Footprint

The footprint of our Sulfuric Acid Recovery System takes many shapes, depending upon the system size and our customer's available space.  As in the picture above, the stairway can be placed on the other side or front of the system.  Substituting a ladder saves money and a few feet of valuable space.

Our smaller Sulfuric Acid Recovery Systems can utilize a gravity crystal filter or a centrifuge to separate the ferrous sulfate crystals from solution.
